This is a very nice cabin/house. Very quiet and what one expects at Tahoe, lots of trees and a comforatble place to stay with lots of wood plank walls and a hard wood floor! It was hot while we were there, but a few provided fans and some open windows or doors kept it comfortable. The whole family enjoyed the cabin- we used the BBQ and enjoyed the kitchen as well. The beds were comfortable. The keyless access was nice, but you have to touch the check-mark symbol after entering the code in order to open. They did not tell me that when I checked in.

This is our second time staying at the bass chalet. With a large family we never feel cramped here with plenty of room for fun, activities, room to make dinner, barbecue and our favorite part is walking straight out the back and going on some wonderful hikes up the mountain. Such a beautiful charming place.

We originally rented a cabin at a different part of the lake that had to be canceled by owner. We were moved to this location and it was a blessing. The house is very close to Kings Beach, Tahoe City and Alpine Valley. Plenty of space and parking for the children. Pack and play was available for the little one. The accommodation people were very nice at check in and check out. Great trip, would recommend to anyone.

Great location, and perfect setup... even with more snow than I've ever seen in my life. My kids had a blast playing in the yard (which is essentially a mountainside). It feels very remote, and yet its five minutes away from Safeway and plenty of restaurants and stuff. I would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was perfect for my family visit to North Lake Tahoe. The total party consisted of 3 adults, 4 children, and 2 dogs. It was a large enough property for my dogs to run around and my children to find multiple places to sled and play in the snow. If you’re looking for a secluded place to relax within a 5 minute drive to Kings Beach, this is definitely the place for you.

Great home. Clean and well appointed. We had been warned that the driveway was very steep and with all the snow falling that day, even cars with 4 wheel drive wouldn’t make it up the driveway. We were relieved that our truck with snow tires had no problem with the hill.

Very clean, well maintained. The 2 queen beds downstairs are quite firm, the king sized bed upstairs is more comfortable. None of the windows are allowed to be opened, which is odd. No basic condiments such as olive oil, salt and pepper, butter, sugar, or coffee filters but they did have a full rack of other random herbs and spices. There's a gate at the bottom of the stairs which is great for keeping toddlers safe, and keeping dogs out too. Nice location close to Kings Beach shops and restaurants. Good value.

This house is the perfect location for a quiet, relaxing stay. It's tucked away from the the main road which made the stay more private and secluded, but was only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, playground, and food. They layout of the main floor is large and open, which worked very well for our vacation with a toddler and grandparents. It is definitely in need of some updating, deep cleaning, and a plumbing fix in the upstairs bathroom (I've communicated this to Tahoe Accommodations). Otherwise, it was a great spot and we would stay here again!

We had some surprises in the structure during our stay at the Bass Chalet, but thanks to Esmerelda at Tahoe Accommodations, we were well taken care of. Her quick thinking and customer service provided an exceptional experience at a beautiful place. The cleanliness of the chalet was amazing, especially with COVID19. The property is centrally located with Kings beach nearby. The only negative is the refrigerator, it wasn't working while we were there and even when we left it hadn't reached temperature. We never filled it to the brim, it barely was able to make ice cubes.

My family has stayed at The Bass Chalet for three years now. And we love it more every time. The large and private deck is a great place to eat, play board games and watch the sunset. The open concept living room/dining room/kitchen is a great hangout space for families. The proximity to King’s Beach, Sand Harbor, Treetop Adventure Park and so many other must see spots is great. There’s a National Forest at the end of the road with some great trails you can just on without even getting in your car. We hiked all the way to the Stateline fire lookout from the cabin’s backyard. And the COVID deep cleaning procedures left the cabin even more sparkling than usual. There are also no comforters or throw pillows right now, which helped make me feel safer. And the contactless check in system was a breeze. I never once felt worried while I was there. We’ve only been home two days, and my family is already planning and talking about our trip back next year. We love this place!

Our mainly of 6 stayed at the Bass Lodge for the weekend and we had a great experience. The property was very well maintained, the cabin was clean and was everything we hoped it would be. Lake Tahoe Accommodations were very helpful leading to and throughout our stay. Definitely recommend the stay!

My family absolutely LOVES the Bass Chalet. This is our second year renting it for a week in the summer. This is an extended family trip that involves three generations. It really is a perfect setup with the master bedroom upstairs, and the two smaller rooms downstairs. The deck with the fabulous view is our favorite spot to eat and watch sunsets. We always bring our dog and she enjoys exploring the trails nearby. And the location is perfect—a quick five minute drive down to King’s Beach. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This cabin was worth every penny! Tons of property for the kids to play on... Tons of room for the kids to play in... And all the amenities from home for anything you want to cook, clothes you want to clean, shows you want to watch. There's a great hiking trail a few hundred yards from the house. No reason to even leave the area in your car the whole trip! We will be back

I am writing the review from the "wish I would have known these things" perspective! Rented this home for mine and my sisters family for a total of 4 adults and 4 children. It was a good size for us...living room is nice and spacious and plenty of room in the kitchen. However the two bedrooms are rather small, while the master upstairs is nice and big. The outdoor deck area has tons of room and nice patio furniture. The front door lock and knob are a pain to operate, but some jingling and maneuvering gets it done. We told the office so they have probably fixed it by now. The home is nice and secluded so you never feel like you have neighbors right on top of you. We were there late July and there was no grass as the pictures show... kind of a bummer for the kids. Oh, and look out for falling pine cones! :) The very basics are provided for you...however if you plan on doing a lot of cooking you will need all your own spices and condiments as they are not supplied. Only a couple wine glasses but plenty of cups, coffee cups, plates, and silverware. Kitchen utensils, gadgets, and prep bowls are all provided. When you fill an empty refrigerator with warm food, it takes an entire 24hrs to get totally cold so don't be alarmed if you feel like the fridge you just stocked isn't getting cold fast enough! Note that it is a little hard to find - the driveway sneaks up on you and then it's a pretty steep grade to get to the house. We used the yellow fire hydrant and a for sale sign as landmarks to always remember where to turn in as the home isn't visible from the main road. But that's part of what makes this place nice...it's secluded! All in all we had a great time! Be sore to go to Sand Harbor as it is the prettiest beach on the north shore. You literally need to be there by 8am if you want anspot close to the water. The little cove between the bar & grill and the boat launch is the best for kids! Sounds crazy to get there so early but it will not disappoint! Look up theor website for hours and parking fees! Hope this helps! We had a great stay at the property in Kings Beach!

We spent a weekend in North Tahoe and overall we were very satisfied with the experience of both the property and the property managers. The only issue I had was regarding some of the administrative tasks which required my physical presence at the rental office, which is 20 minutes away from the property, so that took an hour off my day. Having said that, my experience overall was very positive and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed at the Bass chalet over Christmas, and everyone loved it. There was 7 in our party and we all had plenty of space. The kids loved playing in the snow. The house was also very similar to my childhood home, which was pretty fun as well. It really felt like home! The only trouble was the road... it was pretty steep and iced over that even our 4wd vehicles couldn't get up. There was a posted number for plowing service which we will use if we stay there again. Maybe we'll try it again in the summer.

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin! The wrap-around deck and privacy that this cabin has made it such a relaxing place to stay & the fact that it is pet friendly is a big plus since our family loves to travel with our dogs. The upstairs has a great master bedroom & 2 decent sized bedrooms downstairs. Lots of couch space and high-vaulted ceilings and open "great-room" floorplan make this cabin seem really roomy. Our pups were able to freely run around the yard & behind the cabin as it backs up to open space away from any roads,, which was really nice! We had an issue with the cable box, that was resolved same-day by a technician that Lake Tahoe Accommodations promptly sent out within hours of our call. We will definitely be saving this one for future trips! Thanks for having us!

What a great stay! The cabin was perfect for three couples - if you come with more, they'll have to sleep on the couch. Great cabin with everything you need to cook (indoors or out). A little hard to find the driveway, but we managed.

Loved the cabin! We had 3 children under the age of 4 with us and they loved the cabin as well as the surrounding area. The inside of the cabin was clean and we felt there was plenty of space for us to move around. Can't wait to come back again.

This was our second stay at The Bass Chalet. We found new hardwood flooring in the downstairs. This is a clean comfortable home, it is set up well and encourages rest and relaxation. We found hiking trails through the National Forest within walking distance. Shopping and great dining is only a short driving distance away. We have used Lake Tahoe Accommodations a handful of times and have always found check in-check out quick and easy. If there are ever any issues, (usually there are none) customer service is right there to take care of them.

We jet skied, SUP'd went to meals and mini-golf minutes from the cabin, and enjoyed sitting on the deck for breakfast listening to the birds and noisy woodland creatures. Customer service was excellent, even when we couldn't figure out how to use something on a Saturday! The luxury cabin was very spacious and grand, comfortably decorated with a perfect floor plan for allowing parents some space. It seemed at first a little more "worn" than in the sparkling pictures (aren't we all?), but it is very well-maintained and clean with everything in working order. LOVED it and would come back as soon as possible!

We had a great time in Tahoe and enjoyed the home very much. We had a hard time figuring out the TV, but didn't watch it much anyway. The home was clean and we loved how close it was to everything around. Just minutes to everywhere we wanted to go. I brought two dog fences for the deck to keep my scotty dog in and that worked out great. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with us.

We had a great time in Tahoe and enjoyed the home very much. We had a hard time figuring out the TV, but didn't watch it much anyway. The home was clean and we loved how close it was to everything around. Just minutes to everywhere we wanted to go. I brought two dog fences for the deck to keep my scotty dog in and that worked out great. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with us.

From start to finish the customer service of Lake Tahoe Accommodations was superb! I would absolutely rent through them again and am so impressed by the service! The property was well maintained, super clean and in a great location. Less than 5 minutes from the casinos, restaurants and beach. We had a wonderful time and can't wait for our next trip!

Great cabin in the woods! It was a very cold snowy night when we arrived around midnight and it was wonderful to be able to simply drive up and open the garage with the provided remote and get right inside the warm house. The rooms were comfortable and the cabin had all the modern amenities we have come to expect... 60" TV in the living room, board games, fireplace, very clean bathrooms, and plenty of space for our ski gear. I would definitely return.
